Today has been busy and we didn't even go anywhere. I have been ironing, doing laundry, cleaning and generally been back to my normal self. I think the cold-from-hades is finally starting to loosen it's grip. I'm still coughing and uncomfortably in pain every time I do, but it's not as often! YAY! One step toward wellness.
I also have been making up a list of the books I am looking forward to releasing in the next 6 months. I do this often. Do y'all? Some are hardbacks and I'll wait for the library to get them and the others, well, I will haunt the UBS and even will buy some. I won't end up buying all of them, I change my mind often. But, it's fun making the list, and I can dream of all those lovely books. *g*
Chris defragged my computer this evening. It took a while and now is on a regular schedule to do so. He also installed another anti-virus suite on my computer. I was using AVG and it worked well, but I began to think of all the financial purchases and moving that I make online and asked Chris to make sure my anit-virus was up to all that. He decided to change mine to Avast. So, we'll see how it goes. Funny this is, I had seen an article on Avast a couple of months ago and mentioned it to him, he put it on his and has liked it. I have no idea why he couldn't have thought to put it on my computer without having to ask him! He said it was because he wanted to check it out first. Uh-huh. Right. He forgot me. I know he did. *g*
Daughter got in trouble with her Dad today. Chris told her if she didn't pay more attention to her chores he was going to take her new iPod Shuffle away. (She's had the thing glued to her ears since she received it AND she's been glued to the computer too, NOT doing her chores like she's been asked to do by me.) That's the part that ticked Chris off the most. That I had told her, and asked her to do some things and she basically ignored me. I understand that she's enraptured by her new "toy" but that shouldn't keep her from doing what's expected. *sigh* I do not like this "Tween" phase at all. Son, well, he's Son. So happy and sweet and willing to do what he's been told. *sigh* Did I mention he's been playing with a Whoopi cushion all day? *g*
Well, that's all from my day. I am feeling better today and tonight. I am trying my darndest not to cough, because it only hurts less when I curl into a ball. *g* I hope y'all had a peaceful and relaxing day today. I wish a delightful and happy monday for you. And if I don't "See" ya'll around beforehand, HAPPY NEW YEAR! B.
Exercise: No. Hopefully back to Yoga or the Y at least tomorrow.
