Fireball is too darn curious for his own good. I didn't close the garage door ALL the way today, (It was pushed closed it just didn't click) and he sat there for a few minutes until he figured out how to open the door. I had to fuss at him to get back inside and reminded him that he's already lost one of his nine lives, and that he only has 8 more. *g*
Today was lovely outside, our high today was 78 degrees! Unfortunately, this doesn't mean my allergy problems are over and even Chris and Daughter had a bit of troble with their allergies today as well.
We had to run more errands today, but we had a good time. I had to pick up a prescription, and we needed to go to Target (which I enjoy but spend too much at) because they carry the toothbrush I buy (It's a kids crest toothbrush; yes I am a freak, anything larger and I, um, get sick.) and we also looked for some Ramakins (because I don't have any) for the soup we're making this month. We ended up spending almost 2 hours there! We looked at all the Halloween decorations and costumes and all the housewares, then had to go through toys because Son still had some money left and wanted a new toy. I also looked at activewear capris for me (Thanks for the suggestion Melissa.), but they didn't have any I liked. The capris all came down to the top of my ankles! *G* Too short for pants and too long for capris. I'm probably going to end up buying the pair off of Lands End, that I like.
After all that we came home and Chris decided to make dinner, he made my Roast! He's been incredibly helpful lately and swears he doesn't want anything or hasn't broken anything. *g* I think it's because although he made a B (A high B, btw.) on his last class, it wasn't enough to pull his GPA back up to a 3.0 (Which is what he usually has, only he did make a D in that one class.) and his college has a policy that he has to take a few months off before he can take anymore classes, for his Masters Degree. He's actually a bit relieved because he felt he needed a break. As long as he's healthy and happy, I'm good.
Did I forget to tell y'all I hit him in the head 2x in the past 2 days? *G* The other night I took a scoop of cat food upstairs (we fill the upstairscat food bowl up at night) and filled the cats bowl, then I stood over the ledge that looks out over the landing and the bottom stairs and didn't see anyone so I yelled "Fore" (I was being funny, sue me!) and I didn't know it, but at that moment Chris started up the stairs! BONK! It didn't hurt, but he did complain that his hair was going to smell like cat food! (He was teasing.) I couldn't help it, I cracked up laughing! *G* Then last night, I needed him to call my prescritption in while I was giving Son his bath and I tossed the bottle at him (across our bedroom onto the bed where he was sitting) and hit him in the head again! He said I was trying to damage him! I cracked up again, because he was playing 'injured' and used his phony whiney voice (Yes, we do make fun of the kids, however do you think we have phony whiney voices?!) And that's how I've tried to maime my husband in the past couple of days. *G*
And that's it for me tonight. I hope I made you laugh as well. I did not mean to injure my hubs, it just worked out that way! I hope y'all had a restful and relaxing sunday! I wish a stress-free and easy going monday for y'all. B.
