I STILL say this this looks as though he's complaining to me, that Athena is in the box he wanted to play with. And I feel today, kinda like I've been the mediator ALL day. *sigh* (Which is why I posted this picture again.)
Well, ever had one of those days? Where if you heard any more fussing you'd go bonkers? I swear for the past 36 hours my kids have been at each other and then five minutes later buddies, and then at each other.......and on and on and on. Gah. I need a shower and a good book. Oh, wait. I have a couple of the latter, now I just need the water! *G*
I'm going to be all jumbled up tonight, so bear with me. ChariDee over at
Novel Reads, posted a blog last week about the behavior of an author, and is now being threatened with a lawsuit because of it. Jane at
Dear Author has also posted on this matter. (Why yes, I DO read alot of blogs. *G*)
I forgot to tell y'all that last week while doing laundry, as I was emptying the dryer I heard a thunk. I now make a habit of going through Son's pockets before washing, so wondered if I had missed something. Nope. But, guess what I found. Stumped? Chris' iPod shuffle. Seems it went through the washer and dryer. Does it work? NOPE. I feel so bad for him and offered him mine, but he didn't want to take mine away from me. On the other hand, hello! Grown man who left something important and electronic in his pocket. On the other hand, he's done this with his wallet and keys before. Not to mention MANY pens. *sigh* So, for the next month, he'll be without his iPod. We'll pick him up a Nano late next month. (Maybe I should mention to him the reports of the Nano's catching fire due to possible defective batteries? Nah. *G*)
I had to go to the library today. I THOUGHT I was just going for Daughter, to pick up her holds. Turns out one of mine was in, too. *g* So, besides the Rosemary Wood YA book I have from the library (And have yet to finish. Time, time is a hard commodity to come by some days.) I now have Shards of Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold. I read a review/recommendation on this book and it sounded interesting. Who knew my library would actually come through? I am feeling so blessed with books this week. *g*
Btw, the burn on my arm is fine. I promise. *g*
I had TurboKick tonight. Chris has been making fun of me all this month because I really like this instructor, but this class fries me. *g*And I have been looking forward to and dreading tonight at the same time. *G* I went. She kicked my butt and I'm sore now. *g* But, the class had a good time.
Hmmm, made dinner after class and for dessert I splurged and had a couple of the peanut butter cookies I made last night. *G* Peanut butter's protien, right? *g* After that I watched Eureka. All I can say is OMGosh! I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it yet.
And that's all from me tonight. I hope y'all had a blessed and smile filled day! I wish a lovely and stress-free Wednesday for y'all. Goodnight and Hugs Especially to Dru!), B.
Exercise: 40 minutes of TurboKick. The name of the class does not lie. *g*
