Or be nice and tell me a small fabrication. *G* And bear in mind this is at the END of the evening right before bed, and I'm blaming the hair frizziness on yoga (because I forgot to take one earlier *G*). Okay, how do I look for now being 35 years old? I won't even mention the silver hairs that have sprouted all over my head this past year. *G* (I blame Chris. Or the kids. *G*)
It's been an okay day. Chris and the kids made me some coupons for help around the house. I asked for them actually. *g* I figured it would be a good way to get some help around here. Mommy guilt style. *G* What? Don't judge. Chris went out this afternoon and picked out a cake for me from our favorite bakery. (He's not a baker.) He did a great job, the cake was so pretty with a pink rose, dark rose colored and lavender colored rose buds on it. I asked him if he could see the colors on it and he said no, he'd just gone into the bakery, looked at the available cakes and pointed at the one he ended up buying saying "That one." That's my hubby! *G* Oh, they also gave me a small gift card to the bookstore! I can buy books! YAY! I'm saving it for when I have to start taking the kids to RE on Wednesday evenings, beginning next week. The true test will be in holding off on buying anything until then! *G*
Thanks to my burst of cleaning yesterday I was able to take it easy today. Granted, it's back to laundry and everything else tomorrow, but I made an effort not to clean today. *G* I did go to Yoga this evening and had a fabulous practice. And the arrived home and started making dinner. Chris was working on schoolwork, but finished just as I had started and he took over. We'd eaten and Son started begging to sing Birthday to me. Chris has somehow misplaced our matches and couldn't find any anywhere, so he tried to light a candle. On our electric stove. Uh-huh. (I know, but when it comes to computers......*G*). He finally finagled a way to light the candle and there was singing. From Chris. In starts and fits from Son and a tiny, tiny bit from Daughter. They made me laugh like crazy and I loved every second of it. *g*
As for reading? Last night I was so tired (thanks to the benedryl and lack of sleep) that I couldn't focus on a page of the book I have been waiting for over a week to purchase and read! Hopefully I'll get some time tonight and am looking forward to diving into Obsidian Prey by Jayne Castle. It's funny, out of all the books this author writes, the Jayne Castle Harmony books are becoming my favorites with the Jayne Ann Krentz books close behind.
That's it from me this evening. It's been another quiet, albiet cool (which I LOVED, but it was weird) day. I hope y'all had a pleasing and smile filled Monday. I wish a stress-free and enjoyable Tuesday for y'all. Goodnight, B.
Exercise: 12 reps with the balance ball, 1 hour of fabulous Yoga.
